Tom Johnson was raised in southeastern Oklahoma where he attended auctions regularly with his grandfather. This began his passion for auctions and in 1985 graduated from Missouri Auction School in Kansas City, Mo. He began immediately auctioning every chance he could and had the privilege of working with some of the best auction companies in Oklahoma.
Tom is proud to be a partner in the Spitler-Johnson Auction and Realty in Prague, OK. Tom holds his Oklahoma Real Estate License and is a member of both the OSAA and NAA. In 2000 Tom was named the State Runner Up Champion Bid Caller for the Oklahoma State Auctioneer Association. In 2007 the Oklahoma Auctioneer’s Association held its first Ringman Championship and Tom took home the Champion’s Trophy.
Tom has been active in his community by serving as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher at the First Baptist Church of Holdenville. He has also served as past President of the Holdenville Chamber of Commerce and the Holdenville Lions Club and has worked on many other civic projects. Tom has also served on the OSAA Board of Directors.
Tom and his wife Melody have been married for 37 years. They have raised three children and are blessed to have two daughters-in-law and seven grandchildren.
